Recipe for Swedish dumplings by Maria

Ingredients

Plat: 1 paquet de bœuf haché et 1 paquet de porc haché Alimentation Direct, ½ Tasse de chapelure, 1 demi-oignon coupé en petits morceaux, 3 cuillères à soupe d’huile, ¼  de tasse de lait, ½ cuillère à thé d’épices à viande.

Sauce : 1/2 cup 35% cooking cream, 2 cups beef broth, 4 tablespoons flour, 3 tablespoons of butter and 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard.

Preparation

Brown the breadcrumbs in a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Brown dry, stirring constantly. Set aside. In the same pan, cook the onion in 2 tablespoons of oil over low heat. Salt and Pepper to taste.

In a bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, egg, meats and spices. Shape dumplings with a tablespoon. Set aside on a plate. In the same pan, brown the dumplings in butter and oil over medium-high heat and then set them aside. Mix the flour with the cooking fat for 1 minute. Add the beef broth, cream and Dijon mustard. Bring to a boil, add the dumplings, cover and simmer for 5 minutes then serve.
